sent to the e-mail address you provided
at time of booking. This letter is to answer
some of the frequently asked questions by
our guests. I hope you find the information
useful and should you have additional travel
questions, please do not hesitate to contact

Transportation To Buena Vista
When visiting Costa Rica, your international
flight will arrive in San Jose. From that
point you have 3 options.
- Buena Vista can arrange for ground transportation
for you from the San Jose International
Airport to the property. The cost starts
at $200 each way, depending on the size
of your group, and the travel time is
about 4 hours.
- You could take a 12 passenger plane
flight from San Jose to Quepos. You would
book this flight direct with the airlines,
which can be done on line at www.flysansa.com.
The flight is about 20 minutes and Buena
Vista is approximately 15 minutes from
the Quepos airport. Buena Vista can also
arrange for transportation for you from
the Quepos airport to the property.
- You could rent a car from the airport
and drive to Buena Vista. You would be
responsible for making these arrangements.
Check In Procedures
Upon your arrival to Buena Vista, you will
stop at the main gate and give your name.
The attendant will direct your drive to
your unit. Our staff will meet you at your
vehicle and assist you with your bags to
your unit. You check in is facilitated in
your unit, as we have no official lobby/front
desk area. We find this best as our staff
is better able to familiarize you with your
accommodations and the property overall.
Charging to Your Room
At time of check in, you will be asked to
supply a credit card to be held on file
for incidental charges. You can charge the
following to your unit during your stay:
Beverage charges incurred at the Buena
Vista pool bar
Mini bar items
Beverage and food charges incurred at
the beach
Tour deposits
Phone charges
As a point of clarification, the Tule Café
on the property is owned and operated by
a completely separate management company.
Therefore, when dining for lunch or dinner,
you will be responsible for the charges
at the time of the meal; these charges cannot
be signed to your unit. The only exception
to this is breakfast, which is included
with your stay.
Concierge Services Available
There is a concierge available to you during
your stay during the hours of 7:00am - 7:00pm.
The concierge will provide the following
services for you during your stay:
Tour recommendations and bookings
Restaurant recommendations and bookings
Arranging for taxi transportation
Addressing all needs during your stay
There is a grocery store with in a five-minute
walk of the property that the concierge
can direct you to
Final Payments
Final payment for your reservation is due
30 days prior to your check in. Once this
payment is processed, the entire payment
is non-refundable. Buena Vista Villas and
Casas is not responsible for any weather
related delays and/or non arrivals, no portion
of the payment will be refunded for such
delays and/or non arrivals.
